The Daily Office

The daily office is a practice of meditation and prayer that includes reading a psalm, a passage of scripture, and a prayer Jesus offered his disciples.

It is a succinct, meditative, regular system of listening to God and remembering his activity in other lives.

One can practice any of the offices wherever one is. We do so via zoom in the morning and in person in the evening Monday-Thursday.

Day by Day

Morning Prayer is a zoom meeting. We read a psalm, a single reading from scripture and pray. Everyone mutes except a single respondent. Otherwise, everyone can participate in the service as they wish. The prayer lasts about fifteen minutes.

Evening Prayer: we pray in person, sometimes under candelight. Sometimes we sing hymns. The service lasts up to 20 minutes.

If you need a practice that can clear your mind, join us in prayer!
